Collections

An informative, educational collection of zoology and ecology, where teaching can find fine illustrations for the concepts of the natural sciences that we are taught. Dioramas, natural environments and educational display cases. Temporary exhibitions on the major themes of nature conservation and ecology. The Museum also presents collections of palaeontology, entomology, and botany. Different theme exhibitions are regularly held at the Museum: biodiversity, evolution. The building is on two floors, with a lecture hall, a laboratory, a library, a nursery nook, and an old naturalist office. On the ground floor you will find the bird collections and on the first floor mammals. The building has a lift affording museum access for persons with reduced mobility. Public access everywhere except for old books, where access is limited.
