The history of metallurgy in the land of the Luxembourgish region, production techniques of cast iron and the importance of iron in everyday life: hearth plaques, skillets, waffle irons, tools, ironwork, ...
The Saint-Michel furnace is a group of buildings built in 1771 by Dom Nicolas Spirlet, the last abbot of the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Hubert. Listed as monuments, they bear remarkable witness to the iron industry.
