[en] Description

This museum, unique in Wallonia, with its six rooms on three floors, offers visitors a History of the Scout movement at every latitude: the first camp in 1907, the international jamborees, the writings of B.P. (Baden-Powell) the founder, and great comic strip draughtsmen, such as Herge, and real scout camps. As a veritable "educational tool", no less, this international museum is one of the very rare museums in the world to be recognized and backed by the International Scouts Office. the museum is situated in a small old country farm that has been completely renovated, dating from the early 20th century. In the international jamboree room, the museum presents an extremely rare and complete collection of 26 fabric insignia of the French jamboree held in 1947, of which only five complete collections now exist worldwide.
